It gives me enormous pleasure to present to you the CD version of the phenomenal new album from Glasgow Psychedelic Post-Punk 5 piece, Dragged Up!

Following on from the success of the single Missing Person earlier in the year, this Limited Edition album comes encased in high quality presentation Box (hand spray painted by former C33 Cav Green) with DU sticker attached in the top left hand corner.

Inside is a 4 panel, double sided gatefold sleeve, depicting the stunning album artwork on the front and full lyrics on the back.

CD itself is an Orange base, full face CD depicting artwork, presented in a blue translucent CD sleeve.

Hot on the heels of the 2023 Hex Domestic EP and the single Missing Person, Dragged Up are set to release their second album High On Ripple on April 5th.

Previous releases received rave print and online reviews from the likes of The Wire, SNACK Magazine and Record Collector, and airplay including Stuart Maconie’s Freak Zone (BBC 6Music), WFMU, Radio Free Brooklyn, John Cavanagh’s Soundwave (Radio 6 International) and Louder Than War Radio. They have gained a cult following throughout the UK, US and Europe, and now the band are poised to unleash their new album.

Drawing its title from the teenage trash-talk of Martin Scorsese’s 1974 movie Alice Doesn’t Live Here Anymore, High On Ripple sees Dragged Up expanding on the lo-fi garage scuzz of their debut with Sabbath-esque doom (Professor Boo Boo), ethereal spoken word (Die Tryin’) and deconstructed glam-punk (Young Person’s Guide). The album’s cover is inspired by Japanese woodcut art, and works in tandem with the album’s post-prog rock closer Third Level, using mythological imagery to depict Western culture’s disharmony with nature.

High On Ripple was recorded by Robbie Wilson (The Kundalini Genie) and Chris Geddes (Belle and Sebastian), mixed by Tommy Duffin (The Cosmic Dead) and mastered by Sam Smith (Mother and The Addicts) at Glasgow's legendary Green Door Studio.
